Having a Private Party is easy!

1.  Pick a time from our  Calendar & Registration  page!

2.  Pick a design from our  Gallery  or contact us to create a custom design!

3.  Fill out our Private Party registration form to inquire about your party!

4.  Once approved, give us your guest list and we'll send out email or postcard invitations!

5.  Come up to an hour before your party starts to decorate and set up refreshments!  ​Your party will be a smash hit!

​​​Q.  How do I schedule a Private Party?

  • A.  Look at our  Calendar & Registration  page for an open time, then fill out the form on our  Private Party Registration  page, or call us at (765)749-8717 to set it up!  We will work with you to set up a party time that best fits your needs!!  We welcome Private Events Monday thru Saturday. (Times not open for private events: Sundays, some holidays, Saturday Kids Class time 12:30-4, and already scheduled private events.) 


Q.  What if there is a scheduled studio party on the date I want to schedule my private party?

  • A.  The deadline for scheduling Private Events is the 20th of each month for the next month.  If there is a scheduled studio event on the date that you desire in the next month, give us a call, you might be able to claim the date if no one has registered yet.  Otherwise, you must pick a date without a scheduled event. 


Q. How many guests can I invite to a Private Party?

  • A.  Our studio holds 35 adults comfortably!   If you want our LTBA Mobile Art Studio to bring the party to you, we can accommodate up to 50 people!  (There is a minimum of 5 guests for a studio party and 10 guests for a mobile party.)


Q.  How long do Private Parties last?

  • A.  You are welcome to come set up for your Private Party 1 hour before your party scheduled time - if your party is in the LTBA Studio.  Party Instruction usually lasts 1-4 hours depending on design.  If you are in studio, we ask that you wrap up the party no more than one hour after instruction ends - you have fun, we'll clean up!  When instruction ends at a mobile party, we can leave and the party can go on and on!


Q.  How much are Private Parties?

  • A.  Private parties cost between $15-$30 per person depending on the painting or project.  We ask for a non-refundable deposit to hold your date, due at the time of booking your party.  If you don't cancel and have a minimum number of paying guests, you'll get your deposit back!  Please read our Terms, Conditions, & Policies for further details.

Q.  Do I have to pay for everyone at a private party?

  • A.  You can, or if you choose, you can have your guests pay for themselves!  We can create a registration page online for your guests to register on the calendar and on an email invite.  If you would like to set up a Facebook/Instagram/Twitter event, we can provide registration coding for your guests to register!


Q.  Can you provide chairs and tables for my Mobile Party?

  • A.  Yes!  We have 10, 72"x30" tables and 35 folding chairs.  (An additional $5 per person will be applied.)


Q. Where can I hold a Private Party?

  • A.  ANYWHERE!  Homes, restaurants (that allow such events), conference rooms, cafeterias, churches, and of course the LTBA Studio!  The LTBA Mobile Art Studio will travel to bring the party to you! (Outside Delaware County - an additional $1 per mile applies.) 


Q. Do I need to make special arrangements for the LTBA Mobile Art Studio to set up?

  • A.  We ask that there be at least 2 square foot of table space per person.  You may want to put down drop cloths on the floor if you have carpet, wood, or porous tile flooring (ask, we may have some old tablecloths available.)  We use acrylic paint and it WILL stain those types of flooring and grout.  For large groups of people we have a portable projector, screen, and camera to project the instructor, so please be sure we have room!  If you have a question on whether or not you need drop cloths or if you have enough room, we can visit your venue and do an assessment - free of charge!


Q. What is your cancellation policy on Private Parties?

  • A.  You must give a 48 hour notice for cancelling Private Parties.  Unfortunately your deposit is non-refundable.  Guests have a 48 hour cancellation period.  If a guest does not cancel within the allotted time, they may send someone in their stead.  Otherwise the seat is non-refundable.  A final head count is required 48 hours before, which becomes a binding contract, and this balance is due at the end of your party.  If canceled within 48 hours, the contract stands and the balance is due.  However, if you need to add more people, we have plenty of supplies available at the studio.  For mobile parties we always bring enough supplies for 5 additional people.    


Q.  Can I just rent your studio?

  • A.  Yes!  We are the perfect place to host your own craft or art class!   Prices start at $40 an hour or $100 for 3 hours! Call (765)749-8717 for more information.  


Q. What designs do you have available for Private Parties?

  • A.  You can choose a design from our Gallery  page or we can custom create a design to fit your needs/theme/message!  Please give us at least a two weeks to create a custom design!


Q.  Is there additional cost involved with a custom design?

  • A.  If we are able to use your custom design in our  Gallery (for others to choose from) your custom design is FREE!  If we create a custom design that can only be used at your event, the cost is just $25!


Q.  Can I bring food/drinks to my Private Party?

  • A.  Yes, please do!  We do not provide paper products, so please bring your own.  If you have a special need, please feel free to give us a call at (765)749-8717!  We have a limited supply of complimentary coffee, tea, and cold bottle water available.  For that perfect party atmosphere, we have a fire ring outdoors, a Cornhole set, and air pop popcorn machine!


Q.  How do you invite people to Private Parties?

  • A.  We can help you out by sending out email invitations (FREE!) or we can custom make postcard invitations for you.  Postcard invitations run around $1.50-$2.00 a piece depending on printing costs.  Custom invitations take at least a week for us to design and have printed, so please keep that in mind.  If you are having a public private event, we can also create a Facebook event and advertise on Instagram and Twitter for you!  


Q.  How do people register for my Private Party?

  • A.  We can create a link for your guests to register through an email invite or a link on the postcard invite.  If your guests are paying for their own seat, they will be directed to a link to pay with a credit card.  If guests don't want to use a credit card over the internet, they are welcome to come to the studio and pay cash, check, or credit card (or pay at the end of your party.)  We will also place a link on our calendar for your guests to register on the date of party.  If you would like to create a Facebook/Instagram/Twitter event, let us know and we can create a link for your guests to register.


Q.  Is there a deadline to register for my guests?

  • A.  The deadline to register for a private party is 48 hours before the starting time of the party.  This is to allow time for both you and LTBA to properly prepare for your party!


Q.  What can I do to make my Private Party special?

  • A.  Having refreshments and decorations will make your party special!  Need ideas and suggestions for a theme?  Shoot us an email and we'll help with ideas!  We're here to help! 


Q.  What should my guests wear to the party?

  • A.  We recommend you wear clothes you don't mind getting stained!   We do provide aprons, but even the most seasoned artist will get stuff on their clothes!  Don't chance it!


Q. How early should my guests arrive?

  • A.  Instruction will begin promptly at the scheduled time.  Guests should arrive at least  15 minutes before to get on their apron, get refreshments, find a seat and settle into their spot.

Q.  Can my private party be a fundraiser?
