Q.  What is the cost of a painting party and how long do they usually last?

  • A:  Painting Parties  run from 1-4 hours in length and $15-$50 in cost depending on the design.  Our  Calendar & Registration  page will give you full details when you click on the party you are interested in.


Q.What sort of tools do you have to paint with?

  • A. We have acrylic paints in many colors, paint mediums, easels, different sizes of canvas, several sizes of paintbrushes, palettes, palette knives, sponges, spouncers, stencils, aprons, pencils, hair dryers, practice sheets, water jars, and napkins!  We also stream music to help get your creative thoughts flowing!


Q.  Do I need a reservation to attend a painting party?

  • A:  Yes.  In order for us to prepare for a painting class, we need to know how many are coming so we don't waste supplies.  This keeps your cost low!  


Q.  What is the deadline to register for a painting party/class?

  • A.  Registration ends 24 hours before class time!  


Q.  What is your cancellation policy?

  • A.  We have a 48 hour cancellation policy.  If you cancel within 48 hours of a party, you will receive a full refund.  Please call (765)749-8717  or email us to cancel.  If you do not make the cancellation deadline, you may send a friend in your place. 


Q.  How early should I come for a painting party?

  • A.  You should arrive at least   15 minutes early to a painting party in order to check in, get your apron on, grab a snack/refreshment and find a seat. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the party start time. We promptly begin each party at the designated time.  If you are 5-10 minutes late our instructor and assistants can catch you up.  If you are 15 minutes or more late, you will need to reschedule your seat in another party. 


Q. What should I wear to a painting party?

  • A.  Please wear clothing that you won't mind getting stained.  We use acrylic paint and it will NOT wash out.  We do provide aprons, but even the most seasoned artist will get paint on their clothing!  Its best that you don't chance it!


Q.  Is the party guaranteed to happen?

  • A.  If the Muncie Community Schools/Ball State/Cowan Schools are out for a snow day, so are we.  In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as an instructor illness, we will do our best to call and/or email you with a cancellation notice, so please be sure to check your voice mail, email, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the  Calendar prior to your visit to the studio.  Any party cancellation on our part will result in a full refund. 


Q.  Can I bring my own food and drinks?

  • A.  Yes, you are welcome to bring a drink or small snack, no problem!  We have a complementary Café Cart with a variety of tasty treats, organic and gourmet coffees, and teas!  we also have a water dispenser and cups for your convenience. 


Q. Can I bring a guest to watch?

  • A.  Sure!  We have a limited number of chairs, so its best if you call ahead of time to make sure we have a seat available.    


Q.   Can I bring my children?

  • A.  We have a small "homey" area with a tv, toys, and books for small children.  We welcome your children to play while you paint, but please be advised that they MUST be quiet and NOT be disruptive or you will be asked to leave.  We wish to provide a relaxing atmosphere for all people to come and create!


Q.  Do I have to paint what is taught at a painting party?

  • A.  No!  You are welcome to paint what you want!  We encourage you to use your imagination and creativity!


Q.   What if I don't finish my painting at a painting party?

  • A.  You are welcome to come back anytime during Open Studio hours to finish, free of charge!  We're here to help!

Each person attending a painting party is equipped with all the supplies needed and given easy step-by-step instruction to take home a masterpiece! 

Painting Parties are usually 2-4 hours in length and
